Project: NexChem

Between 2007 and 2009 I ran NexChemical, a company that co-developed an organic accelerant technology used in the production of galvanized steel. As the director I managed production of the product and sales that grew to exports to over 25+ countries. 

This was a very busy time in my professional career, and I learned a tremendous amount about distribution, sales, production while traveling around the world as we set up distributors, and supported customers.   

The company was ultra focused, lean and developed a unique technology that saved steel mills time, lowered costs of production while improving quality. NexChemical produced a core product, Steel Cleaner PRO, a unique surfactant additive for acid pickling tanks used in the production of galvanized steel.

NexChemical won the 2008 California Clean Tech Open Energy Efficiency Runner Up Prize.
